I'd heard a lot about Fight Club without really knowing about it, if you know what I mean. That is, until a girl in my Writer's Craft class did her end of year project on it. Her presentation caught my interest, and I wanted to know what everyone had been talking about.
Fight Club wasn't what I expected. Yes, it was about the violence and the fighting, but it was so much more than that. It is a psychological experience with a unique narrative style that involves a lot of blood shed, gruesome imagery, chaos and destruction. It also made me a little less likely to order soup while at a restaurant.
