It felt a lot slower, The sensitive subjects were handled very well but warning the female heroine is abuse survivor. But Feehan dose so well dealing with a difficult subject.

I just found it hard to be invested in their story,

I really like this series but this would be my least favourite of the ones I’ve read so far.
