Since this book is a posthumous collection of Bourdain's various travels to various places, it works better as a reference than the trademark stream-of-consciousness narrative I was hoping for. Still, the text does a good job of paying homage to the legend, and placing his quotes in bold blue to contrast them against the threads holding the patches together (akin to how Jesus's words are in red in some New Testaments) was a wise choice.
