Piranesi by Susanna Clarke

Couldn't help but go straight to this book after reading Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell.

What an interesting read. Such an interesting world this character lives in. Days filled with travelling from hall to hall and taking care of the necessities of life. Having barely any contact with other people.

As the story gets further, we learn more about the character and where he lives. That's where it gets good in my opinion. That's were everything turns into a fever dream.

The only thing is that it took me a little time to get used to the writing style. The book is written in journal entries and I didn't immediately get into that. Though once you're used to it, it becomes great.
