The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury
2.0
This started off really promising, and I was pretty disappointed in the collection over all. It’s so obviously written in the 1950’s and the racist/sexist elements are just grating to read. I was hoping for something that might be a bit more cohesive with the initial idea of the illustrations coming to life, but it feels like a cobbled together anthology that just didn’t have any links to justify the initial premise. I probably would have enjoyed it more if it was just presented as a collection of random short stories.
