Enjoyable. Quite a bit stunted throughout by some editing needs, especially around tracking what bodies and body parts are where and when. It got particularly worse during the last like 200 pages, it was almost like the author panicked that there hadn’t been enough smut so just went into some alternate state where it just all came at once (literally) and in such a weirdly rushed way - both within the context of the story and the writing. But the story line and world is interesting enough that I blew through it and am diving straight into the second.
