I did enjoy this one and thought it was cute and cozy, but I think it needed about 100 more pages to really flesh out a lot of things. I absolutely loved the Silveri family. They were charming, loving and so funny, especially the younger sisters. I loved that their house was sort of a character as well. That reminded me a bit of Encanto. It took me a bit to really appreciate Massimo because at first, he seemed a little bland, but slowly we get to know him better and his kindness and loyalty shines through. I did like his romance with Alessia, however, like I said before, this book needed more pages to flesh things out and that was one of them. They went from a few interactions with barely speaking to each other to all of a sudden being in love. I would have liked a bit more of a gradual process there. I’m still very interested in reading the rest of the series because I did love the sisters so much and I’m excited to see more of them.
