Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke
S U M M A R Y
Hannah Swensen is the owner and baker at The Cookie Jar in a small town in Minnesota, where normally her biggest problem is her mother constantly trying to set her up with every single man who lives nearby. But when she discovers the dead body of a local milk delivery guy in the alley behind her shop, shot dead, she becomes embroiled in the mystery of who could have killed him and left him laying there with one of her cookies in his hand.

I actually really like Hannah. She seems like a real down to earth person, though some of her conclusions end up on some rocky ground. But I honestly really enjoyed the whole cast on the whole. They're enjoyable, quirky, and only a bit ridiculous at times!

Of course you have to swallow a lot of plausibility when it comes to Hannah's involvement in this, but that's pretty much the entire cozy mystery genre. I've really started to enjoy these sorts of books, at least in small doses, because they're generally humorous and fun and a nice snack of a read in between other things.

Suzanne Toren did a nice job narrating and I enjoyed it!

A quick, fun read that kept me interested (and made me wish for a copy because of the recipes! Darn my love of audiobooks). I think any lover of the genre will enjoy this.
