House of X/Powers of X by Jonathan Hickman
5.0
Hickman decided to somehow simultaneously throw out everything you've come to know while reading X-men, while also paying homage to all the trials they've experienced over (many) reboots and storylines. I'm honestly surprised Marvel went for this, as it's so completely different than anything they're putting out, but thank goodness. Not for light reading - this pulls the reader in all different directions and is one of the finest runs/graphic novels I've ever read.
