Nimona is a wonderful and fantastical graphic novel that lived up to my very high expectations. I had heard a lot of amazing things about Nimona before I finally got around to reading it and in my experience hype has the ability to ruin perfectly good stories. Thankfully with Nimona the story, characters, and artwork all work together to create a fantasy world that feels vast and in-depth despite only focusing on a small sampling of three characters. These characters drew me in and pulled at my heart. The character design was also just wonderful. The art perfectly suited the tone of the story and the rich and contrasting colours made the artwork stand out in the best ways.
