At first it was a little slow starting out, but it picked up in chapter 4. That’s the main reason why it wasn’t a 5 star read for me. I think it would have been better as dual pov’s with Fisher and Saeris. Fisher drove me nuts at times, but I understand why he acted the way he did towards Saeris. Saeris is a bad ass bitch that doesn’t take shit from nobody. I also loved Carrion Swift! I’m hoping we get more of him in the second book. He was insufferable, but in the best ways. Now we have to wait for the next book.
