The Edge of Normal by Carla Norton
4.0
While I did enjoy this book, it lost 1 mark for me due to how graphic it was. I felt uncomfortable by the narrative around the abuse of children being so horrifically assaulted. It does highlight how these monsters network, find one another, view their victims, and find them and their abuse. Carla Norton also mentioned in the introduction a survivor named Colleen Stan. Norton commends Stan on her bravery and strength and dedicated Reeve's story to Colleen and everybody like her who has survived the unthinkable.
