It’s quite refreshing to read one of cinema’s most iconic directors write openly about the films that shaped him, as well as the films that didn’t work for him. these days, filmmakers are careful not to say anything negative about movies they didn’t like, but Tarantino holds nothing back here. makes it a fun read.

though, the entertainment value of this book varied wildly chapter to chapter for me. still, glad I read it!
