eeeeeeeeeeeeee I loved it! I felt like I went crashing through several different types of books while reading Provenance, but they all worked (for me) and I am just. So pleased and impressed. And I'm sure not everyone would or does, but I loved the politicky bits (and by bits I mean large swathes). And also I had no idea an aquatic goo person could make me emotional, but here we are. Hiiiighly recommend, definitely one of my favorites of 2021.
