The first book really wasn't good beyond what it delivered in spice and it's attempt at an angst ridden plot.   This book...never should have happened.

In a bid to try and make a book out of it not only did they do the jump between present and past but then they added in perspectives from the supporting cast.  Unnecessary and nobody asked for it.  The spice was lackluster and barely there.   And adding in filler sections like the bachelor party was just boring and Unnecessary. 

This story should have been wrapped up with book one.  I tried to get through it but reading about her assistant's non-existent love life was a waste of time.
