I was hooked on the premise from the get go but then I fell in LOOOOOVE with Justin hardcore. That man is dreamy and romantic and everything and the lengths he is willing to go to. Like they say “If he wanted, he would” and that is JUSTIN right there. And throw in the dramatics of their TRAUMATIC situations they are each enduring simultaneously.
The things Emma and Justin would discuss had me crying as someone who suffers from family trauma and grief. The growth of both of them
Choosing empathy over anger
Choosing to see the good, the reasons they choose to do what they do vs how you feel about the decision..
Yes I sobbed repeatedly. No I am not ashamed.
