Perfectly acceptable book! I think I was swayed into thinking it was less impactful because I had read/watched so much on the Gypsy Rose case and this felt too much like a dramatic retelling of that story. Even down to the name of the characters. I felt that the twist seemed a little far-fetched considering the foundation of knowledge Rose Gold had and how perfectly she would have to execute her plan to frame her mother. By the end I wasn’t really rooting for Rose Gold either, but she was wronged by everyone along the way. Would read this author’s work again!
