Part two was really dark—basically an account of the abuse and rape Daphne experienced at Jackson's hand. Definitely a downer. I probably wouldn't have chosen to listen to this book if I had known it was going in that direction. And after all that, the ending was not satisfying because I wanted to see Jackson and Amber SUFFER. Their fates were neither final nor cruel. The book was very compelling though.
