It's not that the book is too sad, it is just so raw and real it is hard to keep reading. As a mental health therapist at a PRTF, this book is a harsh reflection of many of my clients that I see daily. Seeing Charlie continue to struggle after being released from the PRTF in the book hit too close to home for me and reflective of what I worry happening to my clients once they leave the safety of our doors.
