I've read many books about writing--this one had some good points, but I did get annoyed by it only being just sentences and no paragraphs, which goes against a reader's expectations of a book Also, while there were some gems of good advice, as a writing teacher I also found that he was quite dismissive of some of the conventions that aspiring writers need to master.
