What the hell did I just read? I hated it...but I couldn't put it down.

Mind you, Cassidy is a great writer. His style is fantastic, easy to read, engaging and his stories unique.

I just....did not like this story. It disturbed me but I couldn't put it down. It felt like I was in some awful nightmare so, I guess that means it was a success? Read it or don't...it is really weird and yes, it is vampires but not in the sense you're thinking.

As I mentioned before the core image makes me think of the cuckoo bird (which freak me out) and I stand by it. This is probably 5 stars but I'm giving it 3 for the way it made me feel.
