The Revenge Agenda by Saxon James
5.0
A boss and employee story meets enemies to lovers and is a great combination. We've met Rush in previous books and he is just like Mr Rush, always rushing about and a complete bundle of scatterbrain. I will own up and say I wasn't expecting to like him. I will also own up and say he is possibly my favourite character now! Onlookers could predict what was going on with his boyfriend, despite Rush being oblivious, but the way it all came crashing down was immense and you feel how hurt he was. Hunter stepped up straight away, even when going through emotional turmoil, his kindness shone through. Rush sees things literally and logically, and I really enjoyed watching how his thoughts worked: The junk room debate is my absolute favourite, he totally won that one. What appears to be chaos is actually his order. Hunter isn't the star of the show in this book, but his calm and sensible nature shines through managing to tether Rush when he needs it, he is Rush' biggest cheerleader. I love how protective the family is and all the boys add extra fun to the story. The steam was spot on and added a lot of spice to the story with dirty talk and maybe a naughty office scene too. I'm looking forward to Madden's story next. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
