Good book. A really good book. The mystery of who killed Nikki Heat's mother was solved but an even bigger mystery has been opened; why? That myster will have to wait till the next book or beyond to be solved I think :/

While I had no idea who the actual killer was, there were mentions of important facts that the characters overlooked until the very end. I feel like the Nikki Heat we came to know in the first three books would have looked into them sooner... however it would be reasonable to assume that it was her closeneas to the case that blinded her.

Bottom line? I really enjoyed reading this book and it is going to be a super long wait for the fifth installment.
