The Crimson Warrior by Ella d'Avoine
2.0
Crimson Warrior is the second book in The Midnight Blood series, but the author recommends reading Crimson Warrior before the earlier published book, Midnight Blood.
The book was fast and easy to read, but unfortunately, it left me feeling confused about the premise of the story. The book was well-written, but in my opinion, it lacked world-building. Additionally, the characters could have been introduced better
I haven’t read Midnight Blood, so I don’t know whether reading it would have helped me understand this book better, even though this book is the start of the series.
I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Receiving ARC didn’t affect my opinion of the book.
