I enjoyed this book SO much more than I expected. Superheroes are not normally a plot that I am drawn to, but this book did it so well. It felt more like normal people who come in to unexpected powers, and then spiral out of control as they realize the scope of what that power can do. There really are no truly good characters in the book, and I’m so here for all the morally gray! I will definitely be continuing this duology.
