The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson

5.0

Other than the fact that this series makes me never want to visit Sweden, I loved it. It was very well-developed and I can see that it took some intricate planning on the author's part. I do love that he gave the readers what they wanted in the end.. and that the protagonist wasn't perfect. She wasn't inherently good. It wasn't a story about how good always triumphs in the end.. She was just relatable, and therefore loveable, in her own way. You rooted for her because you know she had been done an injustice. I'm very satisfied with this series and I am sad that it's over. I'll miss it for sure. Not that I'm interested in being a part of it myself, the book gave a lot of insight into the world of journalism, and actually.. police work too. There's a lot to learn from these books.
