Leah is introduced to her new neighbour Tyler after climbing through one of his windows to retrieve her runaway cat. In her defence, she still thought the house next door was empty, so she wasn't expecting to have a gun pointed at her as a form of introduction. Thanks to her antisocial cat and Tyler's dog Bruce, these two end up spending time together, feelings rapidly develop, and the story goes from there.

I had a busy day and needed something I could listen to but not have to give my full attention to, if that makes sense? So stumbling across the audiobook for this on Everand knowing this author is known for her insta-lust/lovey stories that are fast paced with good humour and spice I decided to give it a go and it did exactly what I needed it to. It was a quick and entertaining listen, two narrators are listed however the male narrator only voices two chapters and part of the epilogue so if you're looking for a proper duel narrated audiobook this won't give you that. I will be listening to the others in this series when I'm looking for a quick and fun listen in the future. 🌶🌶
