I love this book from start to finish.
The way Madeline Miller writes is engaging and drew me into the story in a way that I had to force myself to slow down. I could have devoured this in one sitting and would have had no regrets. Knowing the mythos of Achilles prepares you in some way for the major events, but watching them unfold and knowing there's no way of changing the ending is devastating. Emotional pain hurt so good
