a fantastic book, and especially good if you’re short on time because it’s a quick read! i loved this book and the different nuance it has. the themes of the book still apply today, and as a biracial woman, it was a wonderful reading experience. it touches on the theme of belonging to two different races as well as feeling like belonging to neither, and even of being caught in the middle of them both—that’s a powerful and difficult subject to tackle, but this book does it really well.
