liked the mystery and how it unfolded, but not a fan of the awkward writing (might just be the YA-ness of the book). I do feel like most of the clues were given too late, so the reader couldn't really guess, but maybe I'm just dumb. Still better than a lot of YA thrillers out there. rating is probably around 3.5 stars also because there is the death of a pet, and i don't vibe with that shit
