2.5 rounded up. I listened to this on audio and it just didn’t capture me as much as I hoped it would. There was a time I was recommended a lot of books like this one, A Study in Scarlet Women (also 2.5 rounded up), and Truly Devious, and none of them landed the way I hoped they would. I suppose I just don’t like a Sherlock Holmes retelling. This one at a boarding school with an actual student death at least had some pretty high stakes, but I don’t think I’ll continue on with the series or read any more of these style of books. Just not my genre.
