Round Three breaks from our main story to bring us six standalone issues, each focused on a single character. The result is really interesting, if a bit uneven, but showcases Fiffe's range and gives us a more nuanced look at some characters that had felt sort of one-dimensional, like Gracie and Patrick. The issue about Patrick alone is enough to buy the volume - so slow, measured and cold that it's deeply, masterfully disturbing.
