This is Not a Book About Benedict Cumberbatch by Tabitha Carvan

5.0

This book spoke so deeply to my fangirl heart. I read it straight through, laughing aloud and nodding along at how poignantly, humorously, the author detailed how I am exactly the same person as her! (Not really, and Benedict Cumberbatch, while a phenomenal actor and not-at-all displeasing to look at, is not one of my obsessions.) But the entire journey--falling into, exploring and questioning, figuring out and finally accepting of one's obsession(s) -- hobbies?! -- was exactly something I could have written about my own experiences. This book will likely not speak to everyone, or even most people -- but it sang to me.
