Good continuation of #1 but I liked Akata Witch a little more.
This one, to me, was a little too heavy on creating an action plot... but still good and has me wanting to read more!
Definitely relies on lots of info from Akata Witch (not a stand alone) so I'm glad I read close to enough to reading #1 so that I remembered!
