I just can’t with this. It’s too dated and casual about rape. The main character’s entire personality is that she was raped at 16 and lost a baby and now laments ever having love and children and has to be a ‘career girl’ in a man’s world. This was written in 1995 but feels like circa 1970.
Pass. These old school HPs are not for me, obviously.
