This is a short sapphic horror novella, so I'm not going to go into details. Just know it's a story about a daughter who decides to give her mother a last chance to fix their horribly broken relationship, so naturally, they go on a weekend retreat in a cabin in the middle of Canadian woods during winter storms. Things go smoothly, as you can guess from the fact it's a horror story. The mood was tense and unsettling, everything felt very wrong from the start, and the story disturbed me enough to have a bit of a problem with sleeping afterwards. Since it's short, it's a fast read. Definitely recommend this one, especially in the colder days, while you're safe at home with blankets and tea (or maybe hot chocolate...).
