You're It is a childhood best friends-to-lovers romance following two absolute cinnamon rolls as they navigate their way between friendship and romantic relationship.

And while I usually love me a slowburn, but I can be impatient so it's refreshing to see two individuals finally realize what they have is more than friendship and they're willing to explore this new thing between them.

The reason I chose to say it's refreshing is because getting them to that stage leaves us with an opportunity to explore the bond between two friends but also two individuals that passionately love each other further. While they usually say your partner is supposed to be your best friend, but unbalanced dynamics exist and the fear of losing one another if things get too much.

What I appreciate here is that getting together is not the ultimate goal or the happily ever after, this relationship has more of a realistic take in which both Cat and Jaime have their own emotional baggage that to sort through.
