The King of Crows by Libba Bray

5.0

Libba Bray on writing this series: "It has forced me to grapple with how easy it is to be complicit, if we don't interrogate ourselves of our fake inheritance."

This series finale was truly excellent, delving so much deeper into the real horrors of 1920s America, not just the fictional ones. The terrible and unfeeling world this book depicts is our own, and it is by listening and sharing the stories of others that we can shape a better one.
