The Wrong Quarterback is the first book of The Wrong Player series but you can read it as standalone. I saw some great quotes in tiktok but after seeing someone saying it has love triangle made me hesitant to pick it up. Thankfully I wouldn’t call it love triangle.
Parker Davis never believed in the Davis family curse until he met Casey. His family members tended to fall in love after just one look when they found “the one”. Unfortunately for Parker, his “the one” was already dating someone else but that didn’t even slow him down. He learned everything he could about her and to be able to be involved in her life. Nothing was going to stop her either.
Parker was the most beautiful man on the planet Casey had ever seen and she couldn’t believe that he was interested in her. She wanted him the moment she saw him but she also thought that she was in love with her brother’s best friend. That didn’t stop her from not being able to get Parker out of her head.
I had so much fun reading about this romance. I really enjoyed Parker trying his best to make Casey fall for him and not find out all the things he did for her. I also think he was a much much better fit than the other guy. Parker always made Casey the priority and didn’t use her brother against her. Parker also would never let her mess them up. There was nothing more important to him than her.
All in all Parker was just the right amount of unhinged for me and I loved how possessive he was of Casey since the moment they met. The romance was so good and there was no unnecessary drama. I recommend this book if you love heroes that would do absolutely anything to get the heroine.
