Bumped this up to a 5⭐️ read. I flew through the re-read via audiobook. While this book does have a lot of background being built up, it is setting you up for the rest of the series perfectly. The banter between characters will have you laughing out loud!

While this book starts out slow, oh my the ending! The book starts out slow, but gives a good background for the characters. There are times it feels more teen than adult. The last quarter of the book comes off as more adult and has you staying up all night to finish. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
