Lords of Chaos: The Bloody Rise of the Satanic Metal Underground by Michael Moynihan, Didrik Søderlind

5.0

Very informative. Personally, better than the movie in many aspects. The movie was good, but it was over exaggerated in some parts and false in others. Of course, it was just an adaptation, but there should've been more truth.

This book goes a little off-topic when it comes to Nordics and such, as I got a bit lost towards the end. They dove deep into Varg's background and beliefs, but not Pelle's.

I really liked how there's other stories because it shows how young impressionable minds can get fantasies and dreams mixed up with real-life.
