I adore the art style of these books more than anything in the world! The continuation of one of my all-time favourite series just makes me giddy, especially because I feel there’s a high fidelity in characterisation and themes when compared to the original series. Toph being resistant to tradition but still needing her dad to care about her, Aang’s resistance to violence but ultimate loyalty and protectiveness of his friends, Sokka being hilarious- I love all of it.
