*I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review*
Sequel to Not Even Bones which essentially picks up right where the first left off.
I am all for a revenge plot, so I loved following Nita and Kovit but I am sad to say, I did not like this as much as the first. Very similar to the first, this book was repetitive and I felt like I was reading the same scene over and over. I do still really like Nita and Kovit as main characters. They are both very morally grey characters who won't take shit from anyone, and I loved that. I really liked how we learned more about Kovit and his backstory. I liked the addition of the new secondary characters, especially Adaire. He is a Kelpie, who drowns his victims before eating them. He trades knowledge for favours in order to ensure his safety and I really hope he plays a bigger role in the next book! It's also insane how many people die in this book... not that I'm entirely mad about it.
I've just found a copy of the third and final book in the series, so I will be continuing to see where the story concludes. Fingers crossed I like it better!
