Book 3 of the ACOTAR series is adventure overload. So fast paced. Always a danger, always an adventure with some twists and turns to boot. Feyre and Rhysand are in a mission to unite the Fae realm against a very powerful Hybern. But old wounds run deep. Feyre is one of the best female main characters I have seen in awhile. She is fierce but still compassionate with some flaws to her that make her interesting and not 2 dimensional. And how can you not love Rhys. The most feared and most powerful high lord of the land willing to give it all to protect not just his people but all of them. And the “side” characters. I was so invested and terrified for them. Azriel who thought himself unworthy but proves over and over his worth. Cassian, a fierce warrior that still has guilt over not being able to protect his high lord and friend from Amarantha but who will stop at nothing to protect him and others now. Self assured Mor coming to terms with the mask she feels she must wear. And Amren. I couldn’t help but adore her quirky bitterness, but did I quickly go through it all with her character in this book. Sacrifices are made and at one point I was crying. All the emotions. Highly recommend!
