ALC in exchange for an honest review.

Grady & Scottie were friends in high-school and both harboured a crush on the other but no moves were made, they went off to college and for reasons we don't know right away Scottie cut contact and their lives went in separate directions, until one night years later they find themselves at the same bar when Scottie is visiting her mom, sparks and chemistry fly and they both enjoy a mutually beneficial evening before Scottie runs out of there leaving a Scottie shaped dust outline in her wake. Fast forward a couple months and Scottie moves back to town with her teenage son who gets himself into a spot of bother at Gradys garage which isn't great timing as Scottie is yet to inform Grady about their mutual bun baking in her oven, once she does the story goes from there.
After reading book two of this series, I've been eagerly anticipating this book, and it didn't disappoint! This is one of the better accidental pregnancy trope books that I have read. Once Grady finds out about the baby that man in all in. The story is filled with really sweet moments surrounding the pregnancy, Grady connecting with Scotties son Chase, the romantic relationship developing between Grady & Scottie takes its time and their previous/overall friendship shines through. The spice was great and didn't overshadow the actual story. There was some good humour, and I especially enjoyed Gigi Scotties Grandma. Gotta love an older woman with little to no filter.
Samantha Brentmoor & Sebastian York narrate and are fantastic as always. This was a great addition to this series and is my favourite so far. If you're looking for a story that will fill you with the warm and fuzzies, make you smile, a MMC who commits and doesn't waver, with good humour and spice then this ticks those boxes. 🌶🌶🌶
"Being back in Scottie's presence is like taking a breath after being underwater for hours. I know it's impossible to hold your breath that long, but now that she is sitting in front of me, I feel alive again, like a weight was just lifted from my chest."
