This book is *chefs kiss * perfect. It’s the plotting book of all books when it comes to writing. I have read a few books on how to write a novel, but none were as detailed and as structured as this. I have tried many methods before, freestyling a novel the Stephen King way, mindmapping, creating a skeletal outline, the Plot Dot method, the Agile method and more. But I think what was missing for me was understanding the whys of each “beat” of a novel, and seeing it exemplified in the modern published works today. I think this book should definitely be considered a classic and will try to use this in all my novels going forward.
