So the characters and their romance are cute. The cultural elements are well done and it was a quick YA read. My issue was with the ridiculousness of the plot. The fake dating was basically one weekend of “pretending” when really it was PAINFULLY obvious they both liked each other. There’s a huge wealth difference between the characters and the rich kid/his family just gives the other character a ridiculous amount of money and everyone acts like this is normal. It just made the whole story so ridiculously unbelievable.
