How to Bite Your Neighbor and Win a Wager by D.N. Bryn

4.0

Cute story that matches its cute title.

The author mentioned that this series compares vampirism limitations and biases to people with disabilities in the real world. It’s an interesting and thought-provoking take, which I enjoyed.

The exposition was a bit repetitive at times (Wesley reaffirms his plans to discover why his mom died sooo many times), which made the story a little more dragged out. It also leaned into the misunderstanding trope now and then, which I’m not the biggest fan of reading.

But the characters were charming, the story was neat, and the cover art is great!
