This was just so insane from start to finish with gruesome details that made me sick to my stomach. The author doesn’t even try to ease you in as we’re thrown in the deep end immediately as we’re introduced to our main character Ella being faced with the creepy intruder. This was so very disturbing and what this even more terrifying was how real it felt. The antagonist wasn’t this Micheal Myers supernatural slasher villian but just a creepy and unhinged man who would go to unthinkable lengths to get to our main character.
