General Comments: The evocative voice grounds us without relying on a slog of information; however, certain details and the final resolution, though cheering, does not entirely fit the initial narrative. For a novella, the characters are incredible; the writing aids in demonstrating true, unexpected chemistry between human and wraith, unfolding the mystery naturally, in an endearing way. It just needed more oompft.
